Wi-Fi in the vehicle
It is essential that your vehicle has a Wi-Fi hotspot or you are able to share your mobile phone’s internet connection with your clients.
How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad
A Personal Hotspot lets you share the mobile data connection of your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) when you don’t have access to a Wi-Fi network.
Set up Personal Hotspot
Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Personal Hotspot or Settings > Personal Hotspot.
Tap the slider next to Allow Others to Join.
If you can’t see the option for Personal Hotspot, contact your network provider to make sure you can use Personal Hotspot with your plan.
Share a mobile connection by hotspot or tethering on Android
You can use your phone’s mobile data to connect another phone, tablet or computer to the Internet. Sharing a connection this way is called tethering or using a hotspot. Some phones can share Wi-Fi connection by tethering.
Most Android phones can share mobile data by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB.
Important: Some mobile operators limit or charge extra for tethering. We recommend checking with your operator.
Important: Some of these steps work only on Android 9 and up.
